Fragile Link explores the invisible connections between bodies, landscapes, and people. It reflects on the fragile distance between myself and others, between one body and another, and between humans and the natural world.

After hearing so many curiosities and misunderstandings about China,
I began to see myself as an alien —
a being constantly projected onto, imagined, and misunderstood.
The Smallest Print, I created a music score cheating glove based on the Guidonian Hand, where musical knowledge is mapped onto the body.

A collaborative project with Mira from Sweden, centred around eggs as a simple everyday ingredient. Through recipes, conversations, and small domestic rituals, we documented how eggs appear in our daily lives across different cultural backgrounds.

Born from the project Plate Call, Plates of Time is a quiet archive of shared meals, personal memories, and edible emotions.
A poem printed on transparent tracing paper and bound with thread. The work invites the reader to read through touch — turning pages, feeling the seams, and experiencing the poem as something fragile, layered, and physical.
In the type workshop, I designed a font for my classmate Simon — the “Movie Star” font.
This publication explores cultural appropriation in fashion through the example of harem pants. Combining an Eastern perspective by Jiaming and a Western perspective by Antoinette, the project questions how garments are borrowed, renamed, exoticised, and consumed across cultures.
Noise is often overlooked compared to global catastrophes, yet it is a subjective experience shaped by context. Symphony of Life, composed by Jiaming Chen, treats noise as music: everyone conducts their own symphony of life. The piece imagines a world where everyday sounds form an orchestra, sampling life’s noises like wind instruments for composition.
